One of the biggest lessons I've learned in helping people connect with their people is that there is no sure-fire method, no one right way to do it. It's a matter of playing around, noticing, and adapting.

I was writing a post about something very painful ...
... which is a source of guilt and pain for many mothers. So naturally, it was very important that I write it, which was landing me smack dab in the "getting it just right" bog. I was stuck for weeks, and began to doubt whether I could, or even should, complete this post.
Fast forward to Secret Play Date. The post was published the very same day, and has been received with tears of relief and gratitude. It's been my most re-tweeted post, and probably the best thing I've ever written.
